about

Victoria Villig is a Los Angeles–based film editor originally from Estonia. A graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory’s Editing program (Class of 2023), she brings a sharp sense of rhythm and emotional storytelling to both narrative and documentary projects.

Her AFI thesis film, Re-Entry—recipient of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Production Grant—screened at over a dozen international festivals, including AFI Fest, Outfest, Aesthetica (BAFTA-qualifying), and the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award in the SAVFF LGBTQIA+ Short Film Competition presented by Amazon MGM Studios. She later co-edited the feature documentary YASMYN: Clarity for a Day or Two (Chelsea Film Festival Closing Film, PÖFF 2023) and edited the comedy Two of Me (Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, 2024), which became a local box-office success in Estonia.

Before transitioning to film, Victoria built a global audience through her YouTube channels, editing over 300 videos that collectively garnered more than 17 million views. She has also worked alongside ACE and Emmy Award–winning editor Michelle Tesoro on the Netflix series Dept. Q, and is currently part of the editorial team on a major studio feature in post-production.
